Tonal matching: same colour, different intensity
The most sophisticated version and the one most in vogue this season. Hands in a soft shade of the family (powder pink, rosy nude) and feet in the same colour but more intense (vivid coral, fuchsia). Or hands in translucent white and feet in pure white. The look is coordinated but has depth.
Contrasted combination: for the bold
Hands in something very neutral (nude, white) and feet in a bold seasonal shade (cherry red, neon). Or the other way round: hands with a fun colour and feet more discreet. This combination is more casual and perfect for that laid-back beachy summer style.
The golden rule of matching: feet can be the same or more intense than hands, but rarely the other way round (bright hands + very soft feet can feel unbalanced). If in doubt, more intensity on the feet than on the hands.
