How long does gel polish last and how is it removed?
The gel polish we apply at Esencia Estética lasts up to 3 weeks without chipping or lifting, keeping its shine from day one to the last day. Removal is critical: never peel it off. We use a controlled acetone technique with foil wraps to protect the natural nail and preserve its health. We never recommend peeling it off at home.
What is Kapping or natural-nail reinforcement?
Kapping is a treatment that applies a very thin structural base over the natural nail to strengthen and protect it and help it grow. Unlike acrylic nails, Kapping fully respects the natural nail and leaves a very fine, almost invisible finish. Ideal for fragile nails, nails that break easily, or nails damaged by continuous gel polish.
What is the difference between a classic pedicure and a medical pedicure?
A classic pedicure is a complete foot care and cosmetic treatment: filing, exfoliation, removal of moderate hard skin, hydration and colour. A medical pedicure targets specific issues: very deep or painful callosities, cracks, ingrown or thickened nails, fungal problems. In those cases we use specialist tools to solve the underlying problem safely.
How often should I have a professional manicure?
A classic manicure is recommended every 2-3 weeks. Gel polish lasts up to 3 weeks, so the appointment lines up with removal and reapplication. For Kapping, a review every 3-4 weeks. The hand hydration treatment can be done more frequently, especially in the cold months or if your hands are very dry from work or cleaning products.
Do you use professional-quality products for hands and feet?
Yes. At Esencia Estética we only work with premium professional brands, with formulations free of harmful substances. Our gel polishes meet EU regulations and our skincare products are professional-grade cosmetics. Product quality is part of the result and of the long-term health of your nails.
