Every year, in the weeks running up to May and June, my diary fills with clients who have one date circled in red: a wedding, a communion, a christening. There are always two kinds of situation: those who come in with plenty of time and can design a full plan, and those who arrive in a panic two weeks before. After many years I can say: the difference in outcome is real. This guide is written to make you one of the first. Wedding beauty prep near Madrid — 25 min from central Madrid.
Why advance preparation matters more than you'd think
Skin has cellular renewal cycles of roughly 28 days. That means when you start working on it today, the full effects show up weeks later. A facial the day before the event can help with an immediate glow, but it can't make up for what an 8-week protocol would have achieved in depth: texture, dark spots, facial muscle tone, permanent hair removal.
The goal isn't just looking beautiful on the day. It's arriving feeling so well that the confidence shows in every photo. And that takes time.
The golden rule: for a full plan, start 3 to 4 months in advance. For solid results with a shorter protocol, 6 weeks is enough. For last-minute prep (2–3 weeks), there's still a lot to do, but expectations must be realistic.

Treatments that make the difference
Kobido: the natural lifting for brides and mothers
If there's one treatment I'd recommend to anyone starring in an event, it's Japanese Kobido. The facial massage works the more than 40 facial muscles with precision movements, tones, lifts cheekbones and redefines the jawline completely naturally, no needles, no devices.
Results are visible from the first session (skin looks more luminous and "lifted" immediately after), but with a cycle of 6–8 sessions the change is cumulative and lasting. Many brides describe it as the most visible difference in the photos.
Dermapen + Mesotherapy: for dark spots, texture and firmness
If you have dark spots, visible pores, acne scars or simply want a finer, more uniform texture, Dermapen combined with electroporation mesotherapy is the most effective option. Controlled micro-perforations stimulate collagen and allow specific actives to be delivered at depth. Results improve for weeks, which is why you have to start ahead.
Laser hair removal: plan it with time
Laser hair removal for events is one of the most requested services — and the one that suffers most from lack of time. For it to be effective in the main areas (underarms, legs, décolletage, bikini area), you need at least 3 sessions with the correct spacing. That means starting at least 3 months out. Less time works too, but expectations must be adjusted.
Semi-permanent manicure: up to 4 weeks without touch-ups
A well-applied gel polish manicure lasts 2–4 weeks without lifting, chipping or losing shine. Perfect so your hands look flawless in the ring or communion-gift photos. The tip: have it done 24–48 hours before the event, not on the day, so the polish is fully cured.

Mistakes to avoid
Over the years I've seen the same mistakes repeat. The most frequent: doing your first aggressive facial (like Dermapen) too close to the event. The skin needs a few days to recover and settle. The rule: no exfoliating or invasive treatments in the 7–10 days before the event.
Another common mistake: trying brand-new cosmetics in the weeks leading up. You never know how your skin will react to something new, and now is not the time to find out. Stick to your routine and trust what already works for you.
And the most painful of all: coming in the week before expecting results that only come with months of work. Not because we can't do anything — but because it hurts to know how much more complete the outcome would have been with a little more time.
My personal advice: if you have a date on the calendar, come and see me as soon as possible. Even if the event is 5 months away, a first consultation commits you to nothing and lets you know exactly what can be achieved. The initial consultation is always free.
