Why we are bringing FHOS to Esencia Estética
The FHOS Bioluminescent Procyon device is already installed in our salon in Campo Real, 25 minutes from central Madrid. We are finalising the definitive protocols by objective (face, body, combined with HIFU or Kobido) and the final prices. Our commitment has always been the same: bringing you only the best, the technology that makes a truly visible difference on your skin.
FHOS is a protocol developed by DRV / Ramason that combines bioluminescent cosmetics carrying encapsulated nanomolecules with a device called Procyon, which emits atermic light at specific frequencies. The photons activate the cosmetics, penetrate the deep layers of the skin and trigger cellular energy. It sounds like marketing until you see it in cabin: 15 minutes and visibly different skin.
We only bring in a new technology when it has scientific backing, when serious reference salons are already working with it, and when we have tested it on ourselves first. FHOS ticks all three. In Spain the protocol is already used by reference salons such as Carmen Navarro (a household name in Spanish aesthetics), Arancha Ballesteros, The Sun Room and Belcha. Being on that list feels like a good sign.

The science behind FHOS Bioluminescent
FHOS is not "just another LED" or a generic light. It's a combined system in which cosmetics and light need each other to work. Here is the process, step by step:
Bioluminescent cosmetics
We apply a specific cosmetic containing encapsulated nanomolecules on the skin: concentrated active ingredients designed to react precisely with the light emitted by the Procyon device.
Procyon device · atermic light
The Procyon emits light at very specific frequencies. Unlike IPL or laser, this light adds no heat to the skin: it is atermic. That is why it is safe all year round, even on tanned skin.
Photons activate the nanomolecules
When the light reaches the cosmetic, its photons "open" the nanomolecule capsules and release them at the exact depth we're aiming for. The skin absorbs actives where otherwise they would not reach.
Mitochondrial activation
The actives switch on the mitochondria (the "power plant" of the cell) and the skin recharges energy. It translates into firmness, radiance, better texture and even tone.
Weekly protocol + maintenance

Are there any contraindications? +
Because it is non-invasive and delivers no heat, contraindications are very limited. Pregnancy, active oncology, open skin lesions and photosensitising medications are reviewed case by case at the free informational consultation before any session is scheduled.

Is it the same as IPL or LED? +
No. IPL is heat-based and can't be used on tanned skin; conventional LED works on limited frequencies and doesn't activate nanomolecule-based cosmetics. FHOS combines atermic light at specific frequencies and bioluminescent cosmetics engineered to react with those photons and penetrate deeper. A different protocol, with an outcome closer to medical aesthetics.
